Next, you must sign up for a free NBCUniversal Profile using your e-mail address, your Facebook account, your Google account or your Apple ID. If you previously signed up for an NBCUniversal Profile, tap the Sign In link at the bottom of the sign-up form and complete all required fields to sign into your existing profile. Additionally, to vote, users are required to enter their ZIP code. If a user enters a ZIP code that spans two states, this user will be required to select one of the two possible states that the entered ZIP code corresponds to complete the NBCUniversal Profile sign up process.
Online Voting – You can vote online by visiting this link NBC.com/ASCVote and sign up for a free NBCUniversal Profile using your e-mail address, your Facebook account, or your Google account or your Apple ID. If you previously signed up for an NBCUniversal Profile, tap the Sign In link at the bottom of the sign-up form and complete all required fields to sign into your existing profile. Additionally, to vote, users are required to enter their ZIP code. If a user enters a ZIP code that spans two states, this user will be required to select one of the two possible states that the entered ZIP code corresponds to in order to complete the NBCUniversal Profile sign up process. Users must also select an option from the Gender field.
TikTok Voting – During the Voting Period, you can vote via TikTok application, Simply Log into your TikTok account on TikTok, and in the “Search” bar, enter “American Song Contest” or any of the following American Song Contest Search Terms (ASC, ASC Vote, America Song Contest Vote, #ASC, #ASCVote, #American Song Contest, #American Song ContestVote) to access the official voting page for the American Sor Contest vote on TikTok (“Tik Tok Voting Page”). After you have signed up or signed into TikTok, and when the applicable Voting Wind is open, click on the artist(s) of your choice to assign votes to the artist(s). American song contest voting is only open to viewers located in the (50) United States, Washington DC., Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin island and Northern Marian islands who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time they vote.
Voting Rounds Viewers may vote using the above Voting Methods in the following voting rounds:
- Qualifiers Voting – During the March 21, March 28, April 4, April 11, April 18 Qualifiers Voting Windows (defined below), viewers can vote using The NBC App Voting, Online Voting, and TikTok Voting.
- Semifinals Voting During the April 25, and May 2, 2022 Semifinals Voting Windows (defined below), viewers can vote using The NBC App Voting, Online Voting, and TikTok Voting.
- Grand Final Voting – During the May 9 Grand Final Voting Window, viewers can vote for Grand Final-Eligible Artists via The NBC App Voting, Online Voting, and TikTok Voting.
