Red Ribbon Week Photo Contest 2023:
Enter into the Red Ribbon Week Photo Contest 2023 at Redribbon.org/contest for your chance to win an Apple iPad and $1,000 dollar donation to your school to be used towards drug prevention.
If you’re interested in participating in the contest, here’s how you can enter Red Ribbon Photo Contest 2023:
Home Decoration Category:
- Begin by registering at https://www.redribbon.org (the “Contest Website”).
- Capture an original photograph, referred to as an “Entry,” showcasing a creatively decorated home mailbox, front door, or fence that decorated with this year’s theme: “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free.” Ensure the display includes a double-looped red ribbon.
- Your Entry should meet the technical, creative, and legal requirements outlined in the Official Rules.
- Feel free to submit your Entry by uploading it to the Contest Website at any point during the Photo Submission Period.
- Note that the home decoration category allows one entry per family.
School Decoration Category:
- Similarly, for the School Decoration Category, you’ll also need to register at https://www.redribbon.org (the “Contest Website”).
- Take an original photograph, your “Entry,” of a school decoration that adheres to this year’s theme: “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free.” Make sure there’s a double-looped red ribbon in the decoration.
- Ensure that your Entry complies with the technical, creative, and legal requirements as specified in the Official Rules.
- Submit your Entry by uploading it to the Contest Website during the Photo Submission Period.
Remember, the home decoration category has a limit of one entry per family. So, prepare your best entry, follow the guidelines, and embrace the opportunity to showcase your creativity and support the theme of living drug-free. Good luck!
There Are Two (2) Ways To Win:
- Getting the highest number of votes for your entry. Within this, there will be two winners within each of the specified regions, namely Home Decoration (family) and School Decoration (school employee/parent volunteer) categories, resulting in a total of 10 awards distributed as follows:
- Region 1: Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland.
- Region 2: West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida.
- Region 3: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota.
- Region 4: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. Military bases overseas.
- Region 5: Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, California, Alaska, Hawaii.
- Securing one of the Judges’ Awards (5 in the school category and 5 in the home category – not restricted by region). The following accolades will be determined by a panel of expert judges from NFP, the DEA, and other entities:

13th Annual National Red Ribbon Week Photo Contest 2023 Rules:
Who Can Enter: Open only to legal residents of the United States and who have reached the age of 18 years old at the time of entry.
Contest Period: This Contest entry begins on October1, 2023, at 9:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and all entries must be received by November 16th, 2023 at 9 pm ET.
