Chicago.gov/chicagomoves application aka City of Chicago Gas Card Giveaway is brought to you by City of Chicago Moves where they will be giving away up to 50,000 prepaid gas cards for free of worth $150 and 100,000 prepaid transit cards of $50 to eligible residents across the city.  75% prizes will be giveaway to the prioritize residents in community areas that face higher mobility hardship.

Chicago Moves is a financial assistance program providing $12.5 million in transportation relief to Chicagoans in need.

How To Apply City of Chicago Moves Application For Free Gas?

There are three (3) ways to apply in the City of Chicago moves gas card giveaway for a chance to win a free gas.

• Online – During the giveaway period you need to visit this link https://www.chicago.gov/ChicagoMoves and then follow the online instructions to register by entering all information requested on the registration form and once you filled out the City of Chicago gas card application form now click on the submit button to complete the registration form.
• IN-PERSON – You can also enter or apply for the City of Chicago gas card giveaway by going at any Chicago Public Library Location.
• Mail – You just need to Send a letter containing a completed application(pdf) to: ATTN: Dept. of Finance: Chicago Moves 121 N. LaSalle St., 7th Floor Chicago, IL 60602.

If you are not selected in the month’s lucky drawing then don’t worry you will be automatically entered into the next month’s City of Chicago gas card giveaway. Only one City of Chicago Moves Application will be accepted.

Giveaway Period

This Giveaway entry begins April 27, 2022 at 12:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”), and cards will be distributed every month from May through September.

Eligibility

This Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Chicago who have reached the age of 18 years old at the time of entry. Have a current and valid City sticker with correct mailing information for the vehicle (only required for gas card applicants)
